There are several software packages that are available free to students in the College of Engineering.

MSDNAA
All engineering students and students enrolled in engineering courses are eligible to download a wide variety of software from Microsoft under the Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance program.

Current students can go to www.engineersrule.org to get free software from AutoDesk including: Autodesk Revit Building, Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk® VIZ
XLiveCD
XLiveCD is a free Cygwin bootable CD from University of Indiana Information Technology Services. It provides an easy-to-install set of Unix tools (including an X Windows server) for Windows clients.
SolidWorks 2007
