Computing Accounts

All faculty, staff and students must provide a logon name and password to access computer resources in the College of Engineering. The logon name and password is a computer account which uniquely identifies a user and assigns privileges to resources.

As of August 1, 2006, the College of Engineering is standardizing on the 'ISU NetID' for access to all computational resources in the college. Private or restricted resources (e.g. research labs) may use accounts other than the ISU NetID for controlling access. Any user requiring access to college resources must first obtain an ISU NetID.

Every user is responsible for using a computer account in accordance with the policies regulating the use of the account.

To get an ISU NetID register online or in person at the ITS Solution Center located in 195 Durham Center. If you forgot your password, you must visit the Solution Center to change it. A valid ISU ID will be required.
